We started the year excited and confident of having learnt from the challenges faced in 2020.
Last year, the young people of our Scholarships Programme received laptops to help them continue studying remotely. We trust this necessary step towards digitalization will help us to continue reducing the digital gap and keep developing the young people´s ICT literacy. On the other hand, the artisans have paused production, given that many of our partner shops have had to close either temporarily or permanently. The Ethical Trade team is currently selling bracelets online via catalogues through our new Instagram account: @artesanasdeamantani and will soon be launching a new product. We are sure this year will bring us new challenges. However, we’ll keep working hard to prioritize and maintain the participants and the team’s general well-being.
